Create a Brush!



Open a picture that contains the image you want to make a brush.
To extract what you want from the image, select then press command x
Open new file and click ok because it will be set to the size of the image you just cut.
Command v to paste into the new document
Adjust image by fixing levels - image, adjustments, levels
Move levels by sight to what looks good

Try and cut image more accurately – select inverse and delete
Give image a drop shadow – fix light source
Select all
Edit – define brush present, name brush
Open new document
Select brush
Create new layer
Create name out of brush:
Get a good font
Write name and reduce opacity to around 60
Pull text under brush layer
Click on airbrush under brushes
Cover name with brush image by loading the brush from the drop down menu in brush presets
Line tool (under mouse tool) make width 3 pixles and change colour
Makes sure shape layers is on at the top
Put a background behind

Spray Effect

Set brush tool to airbrush
Adjust opacity and flow and trial and error until desired effect.
Taking colours from the image, brush over the image to give the airbrush effect.
